"Life" Poem by Natalie Amey (00:00)
snippet: "crazy going back like almost 20 years ago and looking at these poems that I wrote back then. So I'm going to start sharing with you"

I've been going through some of my poems. Like I've been finding a whole bunch of these poems and it's so interesting about the content and the things that I was saying. And now that I'm learning about the different aspects of our minds and you know, through internal family systems and just like a lot of mental understanding and different parts of my personality and different, you know.

And I'm going say it's just like different parts. I was writing, excuse me, I was writing from a part of me, a side of me that carries a whole different understanding, knowledge, and wisdom. And it is crazy going back like almost 20 years ago and looking at these poems that I wrote back then. So I'm going to start sharing with you

just a series of poems that I wrote and it was a very interesting time for me at the time I was single. I was out here dating. This was out here in the early 2000s and yeah, it was rough for a sister and it's evident in what I share in a lot of these poems, but this was an interesting one. This one I referenced India Ari. She had a really cute cool song that I absolutely loved. So I sing a little bit of it and I use a little bit of her lyrics here. So I just want to give credit where credit is due. Shout out to India Ari. And here we go. Ahem.

I release all disappointments from my mental, physical, spiritual, and emotional body.

Cause I know the spirit guides me and love lives inside me. That's why today I take life as it comes to me. I take life as it comes and it comes. Whether I sway, say nay, comes rays of days filled with dimensional entities, dieties and its entirety around me. Wordlessly fills the spiritual wills inside my body.

And every one of these bodies persists freely. These celestial powers that be certified their existence and my experience to be everything my eyes can't see. That's why I take life as it comes to me. So I surrender. Don't defend her. This way I stay calmer, play peacemaker to her tormentor. Forced to humbly satisfy the spirit side in her. Cause she

who controls the mind's view controls the ugly and the beautiful side too. When she who controls the mind might find I didn't mind to bind, grind or leave behind old lesions, scabs of believing and old fads, die out of dad or the hand that grabbed, the sad I had, the death I planned. She who tries to control the mind might find I never found time to prime, instead found time to hide, build more pride, secretly find ways to live inside that.

can't be shared with anyone who comes to mind. So the plan of action instantly is the rebuilding of we from amnesty into the nastiest mother and sound. Just hear me, every single side of me, cause she is not I and I am not me and they are different from what you see. And the head of we, the non me has no control, no matter who's speaking does what she's told, no clue what will unfold. they say the mind can mold.

but a moment too long of a scold and no gold, just guilty and growing old. That's why I take life as it comes, cause I just don't know. Yes, in my mind, I'm building her in time from scratch on a range motivated to make change yet left alone to discern strange theologians theoretical gains.

Indiscriminately ingrained, that's why I prefer to lead by internal gain, create personal fame to stay sane, rely solely on spiritual pain. So I only live with me, my mind, and what's her name? Love. The sister who once I gave came. Therefore I surrender and send her all my disappointments from my mental, physical, spiritual and emotional body.

Thank you for spending time with me today on Faith and Flow. This episode reminds us of the beauty of surrendering to God's guidance and trusting in His plan. It reminds me of Proverbs 3: 5 - 6 that says, trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding and all your ways. Submit to Him and He will make your path straight.

It also speaks to the transformation that comes from aligning our identity with God's will. mean, aligning who you think and believe that you are is the same as how he thinks and believes in you. And that's powerful. And I think the work comes in the alignment and like actually believing.

in your core that you are what he says you are. And that in itself is a lifelong journey and work. And the other scripture that this also reminds me of is Romans 12: 2, where it says, do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.

then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is, His good, pleasing and perfect will.
