For those of you who have felt used, objectified or abandoned, this is a call to remember that your worth is not. You're listening to Faith and Flow, a creative devotional podcast where we're both in faith and creating with purpose. Welcome to Faith and Flow, a creative devotional podcast where faith, creativity and emotional wellness come together. I'm Natalie Amy, your host, and I'm sharing a deeply personal and raw poem I wrote during a time of heartache, reflection,

pain, I was lonely, it was a long time ago, and it's called It Matters. At the time I was grappling with loneliness, disappointment, and the weight of broken relationships with men. Looking back I now see that I was searching for healing and redemption in places that could never truly satisfy me. This poem is not only a reflection of that struggle but also an acknowledgement

of the journey of forgiveness, healing, and ultimately finding my identity in Christ. This episode will explore themes of heartbreak, the search for validation, and the transformative power of God's love. As we dive into It Matters, I hope it reminds you that even in your pain, God is working to restore, redeem, and guide you toward His perfect love. Let's flow into this devotional together. Here we go.

A lot of things that matter to me almost matters too much. I know others build mechanisms to deny how much things matter. Tonight, I wanna say it matters. It shatters and scatters to platters that shouldn't even be altered. That's why I say, dude, don't say nothing. Don't look my way, shy away. Interpretations of your actions see me detrimental. Long lasting misunderstanding of lives feel me undaunted. Less affected memories unscented. And today I feel prosecuted because of something you did.

My counterpart to guard me as an element on a countertop Receiving blows of their thoughtless souls contradicting the natural nutrients which grow It's obvious to him I need constant fertilization instead he doesn't pay any attention Not realizing I need his affection Conducting no current connection Feeling desperation lacking inspiration producing affliction While sensitive to your reflection there's... to memories of your... Still constant stimulation keeps me in circulation until the mention matrimonial conception

But ritualistic contraception sustains your psychotic male addiction. As Allah's creation, you've become my mission, my passion. My exact dictation is exactly my motivation to put this diatribe into motion. But I'd be one woman against a whole nation attempting to undo the ignorant retaliation you are determined of domination. But you fail to focus. That's my reflection. Feel this Haitian.

I am your supplication, your medication, your destination, the key to your perpetual escalation. Sometimes your temptation to get your direction, but contamination of affections erupts because of your mispenetration. While you rise, I compromise. Don't call me disguised you never looked into my eyes. Then you cry to feel vibrations between my thighs, chasing after a prize. Surprise, it's not even your size.

Greed shapes your never-ending need to capitalize. Stop quenching your thirst from a bottomless glass guys. The only cure to your failed lifetime attempt is to be satisfied. Just change your mind and voila, you've arrived But recognize, I love you Even with cries And that's only because of Elohim inside It mattered when I cried for pride so I kept it a secret inside.

You touched me young in a mind, repetitive abuse I remind. That forgiveness will come at the end of your ride But the spirited dove keeps me up in every stride. My struggle stays alive because I didn't realize Life is the temporary side. That makes me smile every time Now in this new war time This treacherous battle line My enemy is still whom I used to call mine He called me his dime So close I sometimes wonder if that's why I can't emote my soul to devote

I don't know. Anyway, it matters so much I tend to undesireably conceptualize the trigger on a nine. I continue to fantasize. And that's actually my signal to sway back spiritualized. So now, it's time to fight back with weapons you attack. Time to retrack the lessons I learned way back. Must hurry up and subtract, undo the damage that's coming through. Hopefully you learn what you're supposed to do. Because a lot of people don't realize it matters what they don't show you. Now I'm bending knees, thinking and hoping that He sees.

So He too can cure me of discontinuous ease. But still nothing comes to my silent screams. I think he just wants us to be pleased. Store up treasures nobody sees. Forget wasting hope in life's temporaries. Vacant status among enemies blinded by ongoing mental prayers. Shaping behavioral contraries. Things people pray for are these. Claiming Mercedes, Hard bodies, Beautiful day without counting trees, Boy or girlfriend

despite endless lies, simply believes. And of course more monies. Or how about a better life plea..? But his voice say plant seeds and you will grow leaves Peace that flow in the river of Guyanese. Discipline which humbles the Chinese. Passion running in the blood of the Portuguese. Stillness in the halls of monasteries. Sweet life found in the fruit of sycamore trees. Love and soulful melodic memories. Love intended to transcend orgasmic climax into galaxies

Love worn on the sleeves, or newlywed couples under spellbound canopies. Spiritual seeds which never flees, but feeds stability to your naked mind. Dimensions times three. So even beautiful becomes every molecule of air you breathe. Now I pray for whatever he sees.

Thank you for listening to today's episode of Faith and Flow. It Matters is a deeply personal reflection of heartbreak and disconnection, but it also reminds us that even in our pain, God's love can heal and restore. I can attest to that. But those of you who have felt used, objectified, or abandoned, this is a call to remember that your worth is not defined by others' actions, but by God's love and purpose for you.

In the framework of emotional wellness, this poem ties closely to the out pillar, which focuses on reaching out and building healthy connections with others. God designed us for connection, not the kind that breaks us, but the kind that reflects his love, encourage growth and help us heal. This also ties into the in pillar as healing begins when we allow God to transform our pain into strength, teaching us how to love and be loved in ways that honor him. Isaiah 61:3.

beautifully says, "To bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of the spirit of despair." This is a reminder that God's plan is to take the brokenness of our past and turn it into something beautiful. He restores our hearts and shows us how to embrace relationships that reflect His grace and love. Take a moment to reflect.

What relationships in your life are helping you grow closer to God? How can you open your heart to God's healing and the possibility of healthy Christ-centered relationships? Remember, it's okay to desire connection. It's part of God's design for us. But seek relationships that honor your worth, that point you back to Christ, and that reflect His love for you. As always, remember, look, up, in, out, and around. Look with the growth mindset up to your relationship with God.

in to your inner healing and self-compassion and out to your relationships with others and around on how you can shine your light into the world.
